DIRECTIONS to all GymRat CHALLENGE competition venues can be found below. COURT NUMBERS associated with each venue are also indicated. Where applicable, we have provided GPS addresses for your convenience. GPS is only advisable for use when traveling to our non-collegiate facilities. Generally speaking, college and universities only provide street addresses for centrally located points on their campuses. Locating those addresses via GPS systems may get you to the college campus, but will likely NOT place you near the competition venue. The directions that are provided on GymRatCHALLENGE.com are specifically designed to get you to the entrance of the competition venue. Where GPS is not available or applicable, please refer to those directions that we have taken the time to provide and test.

To University at Albany (COURTS #1-6) From All Points

From the NORTH

Follow Northway (I-87) to end.
Turn left onto Western Avenue (Route 20 East).
Turn left at 4th traffic light (approximately .9 miles) onto campus.
Bear left at stop sign and follow signs for Athletic Facilities and SEFCU Arena Parking.
Take first right into SEFCU Arena Parking Lot.
After parking, follow GymRat CHALLENGE signs to playing sites.

From the SOUTH

Leave NYS Thruway (I-87) at Exit 24.
After paying toll, stay right and follow signs for Western Avenue.
At end of highway, turn left onto Western Avenue.
Turn left at 4th traffic light (.9 miles) onto campus.
Bear left at stop sign and follow signs for Athletic Facilities and SEFCU Arena Parking.
Take first right into SEFCU Arena Parking Lot.
After parking, follow GymRat CHALLENGE signs to playing sites.

From the EAST

I-90 West to Exit B1.
Follow I-90 West to Exit 1S (Western Avenue).
DO NOT follow signs for Downtown Albany or I-787.
Turn left onto Western Avenue.
Turn left at 4th traffic light (.9 miles) onto campus.
Bear left at stop sign and follow signs for Athletic Facilities and SEFCU Arena Parking.
Take first right into SEFCU Arena Parking Lot.
After parking, follow GymRat CHALLENGE signs to playing sites.

From the WEST

Leave NYS Thruway (I-90) at Exit 24.
After paying toll, stay right and follow signs for Western Avenue.
At end of highway, turn left onto Western Avenue.
Turn left at 4th traffic light (.9 miles) onto campus.
Bear left at stop sign and follow signs for Athletic Facilities and SEFCU Arena Parking.
Take first right into SEFCU Arena Parking Lot.

From the NORTH

(I-87) SOUTH take EXIT 15 (Saratoga Springs).
At the end of the exit, turn RIGHT onto Route 50 (Whitney Memorial Highway).
At the third light (~1.3 miles), turn RIGHT onto East Avenue.
Follow East Ave up hill for approx. 2/10 of a mile.
At the top of the hill, turn RIGHT onto Broadway.
Follow Broadway for 1/10 of a mile and turn LEFT into the main entrance of Skidmore College.
Follow that road for 1/10 of a mile to an intersection (see American Flag and campus map board in front of you).
Turn LEFT and follow that road for 3/10 of a mile.
The parking lot is on the left just past the tennis courts (if you pass the turf field, you have gone too far).
The Sports & Recreation Center is down the walkway past the building marked "Dance Center".

From the SOUTH

Take the NYS Thruway (I-87) NORTH to EXIT 24.
From the toll plaza, take EXIT 1N to the Adirondack Northway (I-87) NORTH.
From the Northway, take EXIT 15 (Saratoga Springs).
At the end of the exit, turn LEFT onto Route 50 (Whitney Memorial Highway).
At the third light (~1.3 miles), turn RIGHT onto East Avenue.
Follow East Ave up hill for approx. 2/10 of a mile.

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) WEST to EXIT B1.
Proceed on I-90 to EXIT 1N and the Adirondack Northway (I-87) NORTH.
From the Northway, take EXIT 15 (Saratoga Springs).
At the end of the exit, turn LEFT onto Route 50 (Whitney Memorial Highway).
At the third light (~1.3 miles), turn RIGHT onto East Avenue.

Follow I-87 NORTH (Adirondack Northway) to EXIT 15 (Saratoga Springs).
At the end of the exit, turn LEFT onto Route 50 (Whitney Memorial Highway).
At the third light (~1.3 miles), turn RIGHT onto East Avenue.
Follow East Ave up hill for approx. 2/10 of a mile.

From the NORTH

From the Northway (I-87) take EXIT 6 (marked 'Route 7 WEST).
Follow Route 7 WEST for 6.5 miles and bear right onto Union STREET.
Continue on Union STREET for 2.7 miles until you come to a traffic light with a large Catholic Church on your left (Do NOT turn into the main Union College Entrance that will be on your right).
At that light, take a sharp RIGHT onto Union AVE.
The Union College campus will be visible on your left hand side. Continue on Union AVE for less than one-half mile and BARE LEFT before the stone wall onto LENOX Road.
Continue on LENOX Road for less than one-half mile. At your first light, turn LEFT onto NOTT Street.
Take your FIRST LEFT into the parking lot. The Vanair Athletic Complex is the white building in front of you.

From the SOUTH

Take the NYS Thruway to I-90 WEST.
Follow I-90 WEST to EXIT 25 (I-890 WEST).
Follow I-890 WEST to EXIT 4B (Erie Blvd).
Follow Erie Blvd north for one-half mile to Union STREET (2nd light after Amtrak station). Turn RIGHT onto Union STREET and continue for one-half mile until you come to a traffic light with a large Catholic Church on your right (Do NOT turn into the main Union College Entrance that will be on your left).
At that light, bare LEFT onto Union AVE. The Union College campus will be visible on your left hand side.
TContinue on Union AVE for less than one-half mile and BARE LEFT before the stone wall onto LENOX Road.
Continue on LENOX Road for less than one-half mile. At your first light, turn LEFT onto NOTT Street.
Take your FIRST LEFT into the parking lot. The Vanair Athletic Complex is the white building in front of you.

From the EAST

Take the NYS Thruway to I-90 WEST.
Follow I-90 WEST to EXIT 25 (I-890 WEST).
Follow I-890 WEST to EXIT 4B (Erie Blvd).

Follow Erie Blvd north for one-half mile to Union STREET (2nd light after Amtrak station).
Turn RIGHT onto Union STREET and continue for one-half mile until you come to a traffic light with a large Catholic Church on your right (Do NOT turn into the main Union College Entrance that will be on your left).
At that light, bare LEFT onto Union AVE. The Union College campus will be visible on your left hand side.
Continue on Union AVE for less than one-half mile and BARE LEFT before the stone wall onto LENOX Road.
Continue on LENOX Road for less than one-half mile. At your first light, turn LEFT onto NOTT Street.
